Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy uses your body’s own resources to rejuvenate and heal skin

Look better. Feel better.

What is Platelet Rich Plasma therapy in Northamptonshire?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical procedure used for hair & skin restoration.

PRP therapy is a relatively new technique that is being used to heal injuries in muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments. However, it can also be used as a cosmetic and anti-ageing treatment.

It works by using the plasma in your own blood to promote healing and cell regeneration in areas of ageing skin or thinning hair.

How Does PRP Work?

Stem Cell Activation: PRP taps into your body’s natural healing mechanisms. Stem cells are the body’s repair cells and when PRP is injected into the skin or scalp, it triggers these stem cells to repair damaged tissues and regenerate healthy cells.

What is the process for PRP therapy at Trinity Dental in Rothwell?

At your initial consultation, we will talk through the benefits of PRP therapy for you and examine the areas that you would like to treat.

Then, we will take a small sample of your blood which is a quick and painless process.

A special machine called a centrifuge is used to process your blood sample to separate the platelets from the other components. This leaves Platelet-Rich Plasma

This PRP is then injected into the desired treatment area.

We recommend booking 3 appointments for PRP therapy in a 3 month period followed by a maintenance appointment 1 to 3 times a year after that.
